Charles M. Hall

Charles “Chuck” Martindale Hall, age 87, passed peacefully in his sleep on September 26th , 2022, in Hartland, Wisconsin.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Anneliese Hall, his daughter, Christina (Saul) Castello, and his son Mike (Diane) Hall. He was a doting “Opa” to his grandchildren Carmen Castello, Eric Hall, and Rachel Hall.

Chuck was born in Evanston, Illinois. He had several like-minded cousins to hang out with during his childhood in Wilmette. He graduated from New Trier High School in 1955 and from Northwestern University in 1959 with a mechanical engineering degree. In 2000, he retired to become a full time Opa and to continue lifelong hobbies including photography, tinkering, water skiing, snow skiing, sailing, paddling, biking, windsurfing, and building computers. His favorite things in life included sunsets on the lake, chocolate, and wielding his camera at cherished family gatherings.

In lieu of flowers or donations, please enjoy an outdoor activity and a gorgeous sunset in his memory.
