Deborah J. Krivitz

December 21, 1960 — January 11, 2024

In loving memory of Debbie (Strube) Krivitz, 63, who peacefully passed away on January 11, 2024, of a presumed heart attack. Debbie’s memorial service will be held at Evert-Luko Funeral Home, 170 Warren Avenue, Hartland, WI 53029, on January 28th, 2024, with mingling and memory sharing from Noon to 3 PM, and a short service to follow to celebrate her life.

Debbie was a devoted mother to her two sons, Cory (Kim Stoner) Krivitz and Christopher (Julie Ann) Krivitz, and a cherished grandmother to Brock, Cole, and Sheng. She is survived by her parents, Dean Sr. and Bonnie (Borrmann) Strube, and siblings Dean Jr. (Christie) Strube, Bill Strube, and Suzy Chartier (John Kruschel). Debbie was a beloved aunt to Brian (Jodi) Strube, Kevin (Stephani) Strube, Stephanie (Michael) Johnson, and Cheyenne Chartier. Her warmth and kindness also endeared her to friends, distant relatives, as well as her 8 great-nieces and nephews.

Debbie graduated from Arrowhead High School in 1979. She resided on Lake Keesus in Merton, WI, where she developed a passion for waterskiing. Her involvement in show skiing began with the KeeWees in 1970, which later merged into the Badgerland Water Ski Show Team in 1983. Debbie's journey included performing as a skier, managing Dock and Equipment, and pioneering as the first woman triple rig boat driver to compete in nationals. In recent years, she focused her efforts on being an official at state, regional, and national tournaments.

Throughout her life, Debbie's enthusiasm for show skiing created enduring memories for all who knew her. A dedicated Packer fan, she passionately cheered for them, finding joy as she witnessed their return to the playoffs this season. In her leisure time, she enjoyed crafting, reflecting her artistic and creative talents. Debbie had a generous heart, always eager to help others, making those she cared about feel special with her thoughtful gestures.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Badgerland Water Ski Show Team. Visit www.badgerland.org and click the PayPal link to Tax Deductible Donations.

May Debbie's soul rest in peace, and may the memories of her love and warmth provide comfort to her family and friends.
