Dennis J. Buscher

Dennis James Buscher, age 73 of Dousman, died on January 24, 2023. Dennis was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on September 9, 1949, son of Karl and Mary (Benson) Buscher.

Dennis served his country honorably for ten years in the US Coast Guard. He was a Vietnam Veteran and a Jr. Vice Commander of the VFW Post 5158 of Hartland; where he served as part of the honor guard, distributed poppies and helped raise money to support veterans and their families.

Dennis enjoyed wood working, spending time outdoors and playing with his dog, Abby.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 26 plus years, Lori M. (Harris) Buscher; children, Schawn (Laurie) Buscher, Melissa Buscher, Becky (Dan) Collins, Aaron (Erin) Buscher; former daughter in-law, April Buscher; nine grandchildren. He is further survived by his sisters, Marlyn (Dan) Powalisz and Arlyne Bruggerman; brother, Gerry (Marilyn) Buscher; numerous and loving nieces and nephews, relatives, friends. He will be sadly missed by his devoted dog, Abby.

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bobby Buscher; an infant sister, Carol; and brother in-law, Roger Bruggerman.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 11:00AM until 2:00PM at the Kettle Moraine Ranch W379S9674 County Rd S, Eagle, WI full Military Honors will be at 11:30AM followed by a lunch reception.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established with memorials directed to the family.
