Dona J. Fabyan

Dona J. Fabyan died on Monday, July 17, 2023 at the age of 75. Dona is survived by her husband, Augie, son, Erick (Lindsey) Fabyan, and grandchildren Elise and Brendan, as well as her siblings David Johann, Larry Johann, Linda Roden, and Richard Johann. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Mabel Johann, and her brother, Robert Johann.

Dona was born in Milwaukee and spent her formative years in La Crosse, WI. She was a graduate of Marquette University and worked for many years as a registered nurse.

Dona was very active, and was a member of the Pewaukee Woman’s Club, Pewaukee Yacht Club, and several quilting guilds. She loved sewing and was very proud of the beautiful works of art she created, winning several awards along the way. You could rarely find Dona simply sitting quietly; more often than not, if she was relaxing, she had a needle and thread in hand.

Dona loved spending time with her many friends in the Pewaukee area as well as in Mission, TX. She was so excited to learn she would be a grandma, and loved spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held at Evert Luko Funeral Home, 170 Warren Ave Hartland WI 53029, on Friday, July 28, 2023 from 1 – 2 p.m. with a Catholic service beginning at 2 p.m.
