Ervin F. “Erv” Schultz of Delafield departed his loving family and friends peacefully at the age of 86 on Sunday, October 29, 2023.
Erv was born in Milwaukee, WI on July 13, 1937, to parents Herman J. and Anita A. (Wenzel) Schultz.
He is the beloved husband of 65 years to Judy (Mundschau) Schultz.
Erv is survived by daughters Teri Wood (Dale) Hintz, and Lynn Schultz, and his son John “J.J.” (Barbara) Schultz, grandchildren Stephanie (Scott) Bockman, Luke Smith, and Stacie Wood, great-grandchildren Noah and Koen Bockman, and Ayelah Smith, as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his son Curt Ervin Schultz, brothers Robert and his twin Herman, niece Gwynn Torres, and nephew Dennis Schultz.
Erv was a Union Cement Mason for over 50 years. Some of his most memorable jobs were at the Denver International Airport in Colorado and Ladish Malting Co. in North Dakota. He loved coaching boys’ youth baseball for many years, playing cards, and making an occasional casino run. His best buddies were his three dogs, Sophie, Bently, and Brinley. They were his constant companions, especially at mealtime.
Funeral service will be held Friday, November 3, 2023, at 10:00 AM at the Evert-Luko Funeral Home, 170 Warren Ave., Hartland, WI with a visitation from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will be immediately following at the Delafield Cemetery.
