Eva J. (Tempero) Mundt, formerly of Hartland, died on April 18, 2020 at Rainbow Hospice in Johnson Creek, WI.
Eva was born November 18, 1926 in the Town of Lisbon to Ernest and Emma Tempero. She grew up in that area until her marriage on June 28, 1946 to Calvin Mundt of Sullivan, WI. Together they lived in the Town of Lisbon while raising their family of six children. She and Calvin owned and hobby-farmed her family’s Tempero homestead for over 60 years.
Eva was known over the years for the huge garden she grew every year to feed the family, for the many years of school bus driving, but mostly for the innumerable decorated cakes she created. Most people who have known her over the years have enjoyed her beautiful baked handiwork.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Calvin of 68 years, her parents Ernest and Emma Tempero, step-mother, Ruth, brothers, Clinton, Warren and Curtis, son-in-law John Stewart, granddaughter Angela Mundt and grandson-in-law Timothy Weber.
She is survived by her six children: Harold (Lorna) of Watertown, Carolyn Stewart of Watertown, Gerald (Diana) of Oconomowoc, Marilyn (Allen) Shoup of Watertown, Darrell (Pam) of Watertown, Ronald (Christine) of Hartford, brother Thomas (Linda) of California, step-brother Thomas (Shirley) Johnson of New Berlin and sister-in-law Donna Mundt of Watertown, WI.
Eva is also survived by 17 Grandchildren: Lola Mundt, Jeannette (Brad) DeGrow, Russell (Liesl) Stewart, Michelle (Jason) Lesik, Joshua (Tanya) Mundt, Adam Mundt (Lauren Kennedy), Joel (Alicia) Mundt, Sherri (Michael) Clark, Stephanie (Christopher) Chapa, Sarah (Nick) Flanders, Dale (Jessica) Mundt, Aaron Mundt, Caleb (Aleta) Mundt, Luke Mundt, Abraham Mundt, Andrew Mundt and Nathanial Mundt. 19 Great-Granchildren: Tyler, Emily, Ella, Cian, Scarlett, Samuel, Tristan, Jonathan, Ian, Calvin, Evan, Noelle, Madison, Chloe, Trevor, Brody, Nolan, Jaeda and Michon as well as many other family members and friends.
Services will be held Saturday, June 27th at 11:00 AM at Calvary Baptist Church of Watertown, WI. Visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of Services.
