Born December 26, 1946, in San Francisco, CA, Butch enlisted into the US Army at the age of 17. He later moved to Wisconsin with his older brother where he met his wife in 1966 on a blind date. Butch and Leone married July 27, 1968. They built a life together in Menomonee Falls where Butch worked for Falls Block and later moved into the trucking business. They moved to Hartland in the summer of 1978 where they raised their children.
Butch was a very loud and outgoing man who commanded attention wherever he went. You always knew when he entered a room. Butch and Leone spent many years on bowling leagues where he always enjoyed a great Bloody Mary or a tapper of Old Style beer. He enjoyed spending hunting season at their second home up north, in Lakewood, WI. There, he would also partake in the many festivals and thoroughly enjoyed the meat raffles he could be a part of.
Butch is preceded in death by his parents George and Josephine, son Joseph “Joey” George, brothers Nub and Keith, and sisters June, Eileen, Donna, and Carol.
