George E. Schlehlein

George E Schlehlein of Waukesha passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023. He was 80 years old. 

He was born June 8, 1943, in Milwaukee, WI to George and Camilla Schlehlein. George graduated from Brookfield Central High School in 1960. He was a Vietnam-era Army Veteran, serving from 1964 until 1971. George worked for, and was president of several insurance companies over the years, including American Underwriters and Crump E&S. In later years, he owned E&S Solutions in Brookfield. 

George is survived by his sisters Nancy Harris and Sally Schlehlein, daughter Laurie Hoffman, son Eric (Brenda) Schlehlein, grandsons Corey (Sierra, soon) Hoffman and Tyler (Meghan) Eckert, granddaughters Bailey Schlehlein and Lindsay (Mitch) Frank, great-granddaughter Alaska Bavers, and special friend Chris Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from noon until 1 pm on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Evert-Luko Funeral Home, 170 Warren Ave., Hartland, WI with a military service to follow at the Hartland Village Cemetery.
