Glenn A. Janssen

Glenn A. Janssen of the Village of Lisbon passed away peacefully June 30, 2024 surrounded by his family.

Born in Green Bay, WI on June 26, 1938 to Howard and Marie (Danen) and raised in DePere, WI, Glenn relocated to Waukesha County and married his loving wife ClaraAda (Cari) Janssen (Williams) of Hartland, of more than 59 years.

Glenn was a devoted father to his two sons, Michael and Robert (Pauline Hucke) along with his grandchildren, Brooke, Courtney, Levi and Gavin. Glenn is also survived by his brother Dennis (Kris), nephew Shannon (Katie) Robbins, and honorary niece Cari (Armstrong) and her husband Tim Felker.

With his loyal and hardworking nature, Glenn was a dedicated manager for 25 years at W.A. Krueger in Brookfield, WI and later worked at both Kohl’s distribution center and Lakeside Golf Club in Pewaukee, WI.

Glenn enjoyed traveling with friends and family, auto events, playing sheepshead and cribbage, golfing with both the Wisconsin Grasshoppers and Lakeside group. He and wife Cari were the first residents of Lynndale Farms. Glenn was known as the “mentor and monitor” of not only his home and yard, but the subdivision since 1967.

A casual Celebration of Life, including lunch and drinks is planned for Sunday July 21, 2024 from Noon to 3:30pm at Ironwood Golf Course (W270 N6166 Moraine Dr., Sussex, WI 53089), with shared memories at 1pm.
