Harley James Willert

Harley J. Willert, age 74, of Neosho, WI passed away Friday, December 8th, 2023 at Angels Grace Hospice with loved ones by his side.


Harley was born on August 11th, 1949 to Norman and Ella (Bosshart) Willert in New Richmond, WI. He grew up in both Menomonie and Whitewater, WI before settling down in Neosho, WI.


Harley spent much of his life enjoying the outdoors doing activities he loved such as hunting and fishing. He was happiest at home doing things like making maple syrup, watching old western re-runs, tinkering around in the garage, and simply visiting and chatting with friends and loved ones over a beer.


Harley is survived by his 4 children; Todd (Kelly) Willert of Washington, Michigan, Jolene (Bill) Ackerman of Cassville, Matthew (Angelica) Willert of Hartland, and Jamie O’Marrah of Oconomowoc and his father, Norman Willert, 95 years young of Menomonie.

He is also survived by his 3 siblings; Rodney (Gail) Willert of Menomonie, Debra (Jeff) Kraft of Menomonie, and Diane (Craig) Hampton of Knapp, 7 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.


Harley is preceded in death by his mother Ella (Bosshart) Willert of Menomonie, WI.


The family would like to extend a very sincere heartfelt Thank You to the extraordinary caregivers from Angels Grace Hospice Care in Oconomowoc.


HARTLAND- A memorial service for Harley will be held at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at Evert-Luko Funeral Home, 170 Warren Ave. Hartland, WI. Family and friends are invited to visit directly at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until the time of the service.

MENOMONIE-A second memorial service for Harley will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, January 8, 2023 at Olson Funeral Home, 615 Wilson Ave. Menomonie, WI. Family and friends are invited to visit directly at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.


Private burial will be held at a later date at Lucas Cemetery, Township of Lucas, Dunn County, WI.
