James "Jamie" E. Klappa

June 30, 1965 — June 4, 2024

James E. “Jamie” Klappa, age 58, of Oconomowoc, passed away peacefully on June 4th, 2024, at “The Marquardt” Skilled Nursing Facility in Watertown, Wisconsin.

He was preceded in death by his father, James C. Klappa and his mother Dorothy.

Jamie was the beloved husband of 32 years to Tammi, and the loving father of sons Jacob and Calvin, all of Oconomowoc. 

Jamie is further survived by brother Mike (Suzie) Mireau of Okauchee, sister Michele Mireau of Watertown, and brother Mark (Penny) Mireau of Watertown. He will be sadly missed by many other relatives and friends. 

Visitation from 4pm-6pm, followed by a Service of Remembrance, on Friday, June 21st at Crosspoint Community Church, W380N6931 N. Lake Road, Oconomowoc. 

A light repast of cocktail sandwiches, assorted refreshments, desserts, coffee and tea will be provided following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the family to assist with final expenses are greatly appreciated. 

The family wishes to convey sincere gratitude to the nurses, caregivers, and staff at The Marquardt for providing care and kindness to Jamie during his stay there.

The family would also like to express deep appreciation to Evert-Luko Funeral Home and Crematory for their guidance, comfort, and professionalism during this difficult time.
