On the morning of Monday, February 6, 2023 our Heavenly Father called home Jane S. Raatz at the age of 66.
She was a loving, dedicated wife, a devoted mother, ecstatic grandmother, phenomenal daughter, fun loving sister, awesome aunt, and compassionate friend. Jane‘s loving demeanor toward family friends coworkers and acquaintances was most obvious and genuine.
Jane will leave behind a legacy of love and compassion and dedication for living a life for the good of all.
Jane’s desire to live life to the fullest was forever evident. Her jovial spirit, sense of humor, quick-wittedness and intellect were her gifts to share and for others to cherish! Jane‘s long career handling finances in the home building industry offered her an opportunity to meet with many customers and contractors throughout the building process! These often led to long term relationships that she cherished. Although very private and quiet in personality, Jane had a tenacity and work ethic that couldn’t be compromised.
“Whistle while you work” was a motto that Jane stood for.
Jane leaves behind, husband Jeff and children Jacob (Valerie)and Nickelus and her grandson, Kaylan. She will be reunited spiritually with daughter Kayla.
She is further survived by her parents Lawrence and Rosemary Nickels sisters Joan Beres (Mark) and Julie Kelpien(Lee), sister in law Debbie Cottone(Greg) and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation with Jane’s family will be Saturday, February 11, 2023 at St. Charles Catholic Church, Hartland from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a Memorial Mass. Due to construction at the church please park in the northeast parking lot.
The family wishes to thank the compassionate staff at ProHealth Angels Grace Hospice.
In lieu of flowers donations to AngelsGrace hospice in Oconomowoc are appreciated.
