Jerry C. Kottke, age 85, died peacefully at Lake Country Health and Rehabilation in Oconomowoc on March 27, 2022. Jerry was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on March 13, 1937, son of Emerson H. and Mercedes V. (Hartmann) Kottke.
Jerry graduated from Rufus King High School in 1957 and then attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He furthered his education receiving a degree in Welding from Waukesha County Technical College. Jerry worked for American Motors, Rexnord, and lastly, retiring from TLon Products.
As a child, Jerry was active and enjoyed being a Boy Scout. In his adult years, he was a Boy Scout Leader. Jerry loved fishing, movies, photography, woodworking, model trains and traveling. He and his wife, Nancy traveled to Hawaii, Mexico, the Bahamas, and Ireland.
Jerry is survived by his children, Craig (Laura) Kottke, Karen Kottke and Jill (Craig) Baumeister; grandchildren, Melissa, Morgan (Matt), Mason and Emma; sister in-laws, Bonita Graham and Ruth Baer. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nancy; and twin-brother, Charley Kottke.
Private services will be held.
