John J. Pfeil

July 6, 1954 — October 19, 2023

John J. Pfeil passed away on October 19, 2023, in hospice care at Waukesha Memorial Hospital with his niece Kelli and sister Patti by his side.


John is survived by his sister, Patti, nieces Tammy (Lars) Kelli (Brian), and Nephew Michael (Sara), also great nieces and nephews Logan and Keenan, Allison, Anna, and Nora. He played a big part in all their lives and will be greatly missed His parents Tony and Shirley preceded him in death.


For over 20 years John ran a bar in Okauchee, J.P.s Waterline Salon, where he created and maintained many lasting and lifelong friends. He enjoyed race cars and is known around town for his 1970 Challenger convertible which he treasured. Spending time with friends boating on Okauchee Lake was another pastime of his. For many years he participated in the annual tie-up.


John was a kind man with a very big heart and his death leaves a void for many people who cared about him. He will be greatly missed and loved forever by his family and friends


A celebration of John’s life will be held at Kranky’s bar in Pewaukee where he spent every Tuesday afternoon and watched Packer games. Please join us at Kranky’s, 719 Glacier Road Pewaukee on December 21, 2023, from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm.
