Joyce C. Nelson

Joyce C Nelson (nee Stapleton) went to join her beloved husband of 51 years of marriage, Russ, on September 10, 2024 at the age of 94. 

She loved her family and friends and was a caregiver in helping others as she saw the need and through the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Her bright smile and engaging personality are a loss to us and she will be missed. Joyce was a long-time St. Charles Catholic Church member in Hartland and will be buried with Russ in the St. Charles Catholic Cemetery. 

Besides Russ preceding her in death, she was also preceded in death by her parents, William and Clara (nee Sinnen) Stapleton, her brother Robert and his wife Pat (nee McMahon) Stapleton, sister Ann (nee Stapleton) Wells and her husband Bill, and sister Lorraine (nee Stapleton) Anderson and her husband Quentin.

Joyce is survived by numerous, wonderful nieces and nephews, grand and great grand nieces and nephews, and many, many good friends. 

Joyce was born in River Falls, Wisconsin where many family members still reside.

No formal services will be held.
