Born on December 22, 1966 in Toledo Ohio to James and Patricia Meyer, Kristi was married to
Carlos Artiles and the mother of three wonderful children - Tomas (22), Alejandro (21), and Sara
(17). Beloved oldest sister of Julie (Arvind Rao) Meyer and Michael (Nicole) Meyer. Devoted
aunt of Shawn Meyer, Audrey Meyer, Austin Rao, Deven Rao, Athena Rao, Dan Concepcion,
and Christina Concepcion. Kristi is also the cherished friend of countless individuals she
touched throughout her beautiful life.
Kristi grew up in Circleville, Ohio and attended The Ohio State University where she received a
bachelor's degree in history. She received a master’s degree in business administration from the
University of West Florida. Kristi held numerous positions throughout her career but developed a
passion for Real Estate after relocating 9 times over a 10 year period - Carlos working for the
US Navy and GE had something to do with that. She received her Realtor’s license in
Wisconsin and most recently was helping families find their dream homes while working for
Realty Executives. Her commitment to clients before herself earned her several prestigious
awards.
Kristi enjoyed traveling, cooking, gardening, participating in church events, going to concerts,
watching her children compete in sports, but she truly relished her time with family and friends.
She genuinely cared about the wellbeing of those around her and would go out of her way to
help you resolve any issues. She touched so many lives in a positive manner. The owner of
Realty Executives wrote these words about Kristi - “Her fighting spirit, care and concern for
others before herself, and hope at a level I’ve never witnessed before, has changed my life …
I’m better for the time I was honored to share with her.”
Kristi also became an ordained Minister in order to marry Carlos’s niece at their request.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Kristi's life from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct 09, 2021, at Our Savior’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hartland, Wisconsin. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m.
