Laura G. Sheppard

Laura G. Sheppard passed peacefully on the morning of February 6, 2025, at the age of 83. She was born on September 4, 1941, to Gerald N. Theis and Genevieve J. Theis (Nadolski). 

She was preceded in death by her parents and two of her sisters, Marianne and Rosanne, and her husband Dennis, whom she married on May 9, 1964. She was married to Dennis for 45 years before he passed. 

Laura loved her kids and grandchildren more than anything else in life. She also loved baking, crocheting, flowers, shopping, playing bingo, spending time with and playing with her grandkids, and ice cream.  She made the best birthday cakes. 

Laura and Dennis spent most of their years in Hartland, WI, where they raised three children: Eric, Peggy (Dan) Dehli, and Mark (Barbara), all of whom survive her. She is further survived by her sisters, Geraldine (Doug) Gunderson, Margaret (Pat) Kenyon, and Jennifer (Chris) Stase. She is further survived by six wonderful grandchildren: Brandi Eischen, Bobby (Catherine) Eischen, Dennis (Bianca) Sheppard, Adam Dehli, Noah Dehli, and Matthew Sheppard.

Laura's funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Evert-Luko Funeral Home in Hartland. Family and friends are invited to visit directly at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Burial will be in St. Charles Catholic Cemetery, Hartland, Wisconsin.
