Linda "Lynn" L. Windsor

Linda “Lynn” Windsor passed away peacefully on the morning of February 13, 2025. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fern and Emmet Darkow, her Husband Curt Windsor Jr, and her son Curty. 

Lynn and Curt were married for almost 40 years before he passed. She is survived by her children, Nickiey (Andy) Wilson, Jodie (Brian) Hoppe, and Ava. As well as 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. 

Family was very important to Lynn, she loved supporting her grandchildren in their many activities and chatting with them about the latest going on in their lives. Lynn and Curt enjoyed traveling the country in their motorhome. They enjoyed great times with good “racing” friends while they were at the tracks. She would play card games with her kids and grandkids, play bingo with Jodie, Nickiey, and her friends, and take ballroom dance lessons with Nickiey. She could always be found with a new mystery book as she was an avid reader. She made sure her candy dish was full, and her grandkids always made sure she had her favorite sweets, including her mom’s coffee toffee bar recipe. Lynn was also known to race her sons-in-law for the brownie corners. She was very independent and didn’t like asking for help. Her strength was admirable.

Her sassy sense of humor will be missed and live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Lynn’s funeral service will be held Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Evert–Luko Funeral Home in Hartland. Friends and family are invited to the visitation from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at 3:00 PM. Private burial will be at Glenview Memorial Gardens, Ixonia, Wisconsin.
