Linda Abney Sanna O’Neill, age 73 of Hartland, Wisconsin, died on March 10, 2022. Linda was born in Herculaneum, Missouri on November 27, 1948, daughter of the late Lawrence and Gladine (Turnbough) Abney.
Linda is survived by her partner, David Morris; siblings, Bob Abney and Trena Cuddy; 3 children, David (Jill) Sanna, Michael (Sandy) Sanna, and Melissa (Ray) Aukes; 2 stepchildren, Sean (Laurie) O’Neill and Maggie (Chris) O’Neill; 12 grandchildren and step grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. She is further survived by many beloved nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband Michael O’Neill, sister Barb Nippert, brother-in-law William Nippert
Linda had a special place in her heart for her grand-nephew, Hudson, son of Beth and Matt Kitchell, and thoroughly enjoyed spoiling and loving on him. She was loved by lifelong friends, Debbie and Judy; Kirk; and her many other friends across several states.
Linda lived every day to the fullest having just completed a 3,250-mile road trip across the country taking in everything from Graceland to the American Rodeo at AT&T Stadium. She loved to dance the night away and listen to good music. Not one to pass up a good family dinner or a posh supper club, Linda enjoyed eating and socializing with good friends and family. Linda had a special gift of taking care of everyone around her.
She went to join her best friend and sister Barb, in eternity, where they can once again talk every day.
Funeral services for Linda will be held in both Hartland, Wisconsin and Hillsboro, Missouri.
HARTLAND-A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Evert-Luko Funeral Home (170 Warren Avenue) Hartland, Wisconsin, with Pastor Mary Jane Huber officiating. Family and friends are invited to visit directly at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
HILLSBORO-A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Zion Lutheran Church (9700 Zion Lutheran Church Road) Hillsboro, Missouri, with Pastor Greg Barto officiating. Family and friends are invited to visit directly at church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at Shepherd Hills Cemetery, Barnhart, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
