Lorraine G. Holloway

Lorraine G. (Geske) Holloway, 94, of Hartland, entered into the fullness of Eternal Life on September 9, 2022. Lorraine was born in Milwaukee, WI on January 20, 1928, daughter of James and Lillian (Fenner) Geske.

Lorraine called Mercy High School her alma mater. She was a proud alumna of Marquette University Dental Hygiene program, practicing for many years with the same dentist in Milwaukee.

Lorraine was a member of St. Charles Parish for over 25 years since moving out to Hartland from Wauwatosa. She spent her final years at Heritage Lake Country where the staff, along with Brighton Hospice staff, supported and lovingly cared for her. Lorraine loved her family, golf, bridge, dabbling in the stock market, encouraging good dental care with an emphasis on flossing, and loved being Catholic. Lorraine was lovingly known by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as “Nana.” We will surely miss her.

Lorraine is survived by her beloved children, Mary (Mike) Miller, Kathleen (Robert) Gramann, and John (Pam) Holloway; her precious grandchildren, Kevin (Hillary) Miller, Laura (Erik) Richter, Katherine Gramann, Elissa (Nathan) Etter, Shannon Miller and Colleen Holloway; and her step-grandchildren, Brian and Greg Cornell. She is further survived by great-grandchildren, Sarang & Nara Miller, Henry Richter & Samuel Etter; step-great-grandchildren, Natalie and Kali Cornell; as well as many wonderful nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Lorraine is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Jack Holloway; daughter, Lori Holloway Hammel; and eight precious grandbabies.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 16, 2022 at St. Charles Catholic Church (313 Circle Dr.) Hartland. Family and friends are invited to visit directly at the church from 10:00 am until the time of Mass. Private entombment will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Vincent de Paul - St. Charles or Kinship Community Food Service of Milwaukee.
