Mary A. "Mariette" Eilbes

Heaven gained a spunky lady with a sparkle in her eyes and a loud mischievous laugh, as Mariette joined her late husband Don and her son Scott on Friday August 27, 2021 at the age of 83.

During her life Mary dabbled in real estate after obtaining her broker’s license, owned Enhanced Environments an interior decorating shop, and worked as a bookkeeper for numerous small companies. Very rarely missed a Brewers or Packers game, enjoyed redecorating her home which she did at least twice a year, riding the lawnmower always mowing in very straight lines, playing scrabble, bridge and putting puzzles together. Christmas was her favorite time of year and Christmas music was fair game in any season.

Let us not forget Hot Fudge Sundaes double hot fudge on bottom and top, McDonald’s Quarter Pounder with cheese, extra onions and always fresh French Fries, and Vodka with Diet Coke. Ah the memories of accordion and piano sing a-longs, parties at the pool, vacations, and her complete joy in watching her family grow.

One of a kind mom of Ryan (Susan Gehrke), Renee (the late Joe) Evert-Booth, and Suzette (Dan) Klinger, a grandma like no other to Nicole (Russ) Gladchenko, Jamie Evert, Chad (fiancée Tara) Evert, Ryan II and Brad Klinger and a delighted Gigi to Avery Scott and Callie Joe. Special sister of Charlie (Shirley) Burczyk and Karen (Al) Blau. And lastly those wonderful nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Celebration of Mary’s life will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, September 12 from 3 PM until a Memorial Service at 5 PM followed by a reception.
