Nancy C. Blom

Nancy Blom, 91, of Hartland, passed away December 2, 2023 after a short illness.

Nancy lived independently until her death. Nancy was born on January 16, 1932 in Chicago, IL where she was raised.

Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Burton Blom. Nancy and Burt met at St. Olaf College, fell in love, and were married for over 51 years.

Nancy was a longtime resident of Hartland (59 years). She worked as a secretary at Pewaukee High School for many years. Her varied interests included travel, reading, and spending time with her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. A very generous woman, she donated to many charities. She also loved to feed the birds and watch them feast, while shooing away the squirrels.

Nancy is survived by her children Barbara Blom, David Blom, and Thomas Blom. She is further survived by her daughter-in-law Wanda Blom, her son-in-law Michael Hastings, her grandsons Kovi, Aaron, and Joseph, her twin great-grandsons Ayden and Logan, her sister Mary Lou Brilando, her nieces Lia Brilando, Laurie Pfiffner, Jane Modjeski, and Jill Hietpas, and her nephew Guy Brilando.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Special Olympics, Make A Wish, Wounded Warriors, and the National Audubon Society.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
