Neal A. Elliott

Neal Elliott, age 66, of New Berlin, WI, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on January 12, 2025, at AngelsGrace Hospice from pneumonia.

He was born May 11, 1958, in West Allis, WI, to Robert and Evelyn Elliott. He spent his early years in West Allis and then moved to Greenfield, where he attended Whitnall High School. He was a talented athlete who lettered in 3 sports, played on many softball teams, and was a natural on the golf course. Neal loved nature and spent time in his earlier years at the family cabin, where he enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and walks in the woods. Neal was an employee at Firebrick Engineers, where he met his soulmate, Carol. After giving her golf lessons, she was his.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Evelyn Elliott, and his brother Jeff. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol (von der Linden) Elliott; his children Mike (Lisa), Amy (Dan), Carla (Brad), and Ben (Andi): Papa to Brady and Travis; brother to Mike Elliott (Lisa), Vicki McGivern (Kevin), and Rob Elliott; brother-in-law to Sherry Pitsch (Brent), and Alan von der Linden (Julie) and many nieces and nephews.

His life’s journey was marked by many physical challenges. His wife and “nurse” Carol, along with his family, supported him through his numerous hospitalizations and surgeries. He was a man of faith, and through it all, Neal was kind and loving, and he never lost his sense of humor.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 1st, at 11:30 AM at Hales Corners Lutheran Church, 12300 West Janesville Road, Hales Corners, WI 53130. A visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hales Corners Lutheran Church or AngelsGrace Hospice, N74 W35908 Servants Way, Oconomowoc, WI 53066.
