Patrick passed away the morning of November 20th, 2022 at home in Hartland, Wisconsin. He was born in Hampton, Iowa on August 27th, 1954 to Edward “Jim” and Mary McLoone. Pat was the oldest of eight siblings.
Pat married Vicki (nee. Clark) on November 8th, 1980. He is survived by his wife and children, Megan (Kyle) Crow, Bryan McLoone, and Caitlin (Shelby) Brehmer. He is the proud grandfather of Lily and Wyatt Crow, and Baby Brehmer joining the family in a few weeks. Pat is also survived by his siblings Maureen (Tom) Slattery, Sheila (Erik) Frye, Katie (John) Herrick, John (Lorena) McLoone, Mary Helen (Gary) Rolfs, and James (Cathy) McLoone.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Edward and Mary, and his sister, Bridget McLoone Mahony.
Pat lived in Stewartville, Minnesota before his family moved to Hartland, Wisconsin in 1960 where they stayed. Pat attended Arrowhead High School, and graduated from UW-Stout where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Arts with a minor in Journalism. Pat’s passion was printing, and he worked in printing and sales throughout his entire career.
Pat’s greatest joy in life was his children, and becoming a grandfather. He was his children’s biggest supporter, never missed an athletic competition, and always pushed them to be their best. Pat always found a reason to stop by one of their houses because he was “in the area”, but they knew he just wanted to see them and always got a good laugh out of it. When Bryan lived out of the state for a few years, he always found a reason to travel for work to where Bryan lived. Pat was always willing to help his children out, and always had good intentions. He enjoyed motorcycles, the music group, U2; and could never pass up a “good deal”. He was known for his silly stories and jokes, always trying to get a good laugh out of his own children, nieces and nephews, and then his grandchildren. Let’s not forget Pat’s love for dogs. His family would love to hope that he is now spending his days with their family dogs; Mugsy #1, Mugsy #2, Lassie, Zelda, and Scoop.
Patrick will truly be missed and is gone too soon. He was so excited to meet his new grandson at the end of December. His family will carry on his legacy, good jokes and sense of humor, throughout the years.
A memorial service will be held for Patrick at 11:30am on Friday, December 2nd, 2022 at Evert-Luko Funeral Home in Hartland, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held beforehand starting at 10:30am.
