Richard "Rick" Wells

Richard D. "Rick" Wells, 70, of Hartland, WI passed away on Friday, March 22nd, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.

Rick spent most of his childhood and early adulthood in Sheboygan, WI, and later moved to Hartland, WI with his wife Ellen and their children Lauren, and Dane. Rick worked for Dickten Masch Plastics LLC from when he moved to Hartland until he retired.

Rick enjoyed fishing, playing video games, and watching movies. Skyrim, Baldur's Gate, Lord Of The Rings, Dune, Braveheart, and The Patriot were some of his favorites. He enjoyed watching sports like the Packers, Wisconsin Badgers (Football and Basketball), and the Brewers. He was also very into watching the show, Ancient Aliens, and we would tease him about that. We will truly miss his calm, loving, easygoing, but also, humorous personality.

Rick is survived by his wife Ellen, daughter Lauren, and son Dane (Amanda Misasi). He is also survived by his granddaughter Evelyn, his two sisters Judy Zastrow (Jim) and Julie See (Jeff), and two sisters-in-law; Gail O'Sadnick and Amy Hotchkiss. Rick is further survived by several nieces and nephews, Ashley, Jocelyn, Thomas, Alison, James, and Anthony. He will also certainly be missed by his cats Martin and Lewis.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents James and Joann Wells, brother Gary Wells, and nephew Jordan Zastrow.

A Memorial Service for Rick will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Evert-Luko Funeral Home (170 Warren Ave., Hartland). Family and friends are invited to visit directly at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. A reception will be held immediately following the service.
