Robert C. Harris

Robert C. Harris passed away Sunday, December 8, 2024, after a courageous battle with bladder cancer. He is survived by his wife, Arnola; sons, Steven (Sue) Harris and Richard (Rachel) Harris; step-daughter, Cathy (Kurt) Luling; stepsons, Paul (Nichole) Thusius and John (Christie) Thusius; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, John and Mabel Harris, and granddaughter, Jennifer Harris.

Bob graduated from Delavan High School in 1948. Bob enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, serving 4 years in the Pacific, including a period in the Korean War. After discharge, Bob started his 40-year career at Waukesha Engine as a laboratory technician specializing in diesel engines.

Upon retiring, Bob enjoyed traveling with his wife, tinkering with model trains and engines, and attending his grandchildren’s events.

A visitation and service will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Divine Redeemer Lutheran Church, 31385 Hill Rd. Hartland, WI. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the service at 11:00 AM.

Bob will be laid to rest at Rural Home Cemetery in Big Bend, WI.
