Rosemary Coules

Rosemary Coules, age 84 passed away on October 15, 2024, in Oconomowoc Wisconsin.

Born in Muncie, Indiana on October 25, 1939, she was raised in Chicago, Illinois. Rosemary lived a life marked by devotion and love, touching the lives of many as wife, mother, Yia Yia, and friend.

Rosemary’s warm personality shone through her glorious humor and caring nature. She was deeply committed to her family, serving as a pillar of love, support, and affection. Her home was a hub of love and laughter, much like the gardens she tended with such passion. Rosemary lived her life as a loving wife, mother, Yia Yia, great Yia Yia, Southside Irish American, and beloved Chicago Bears fan. Rosemary also found joy in gardening, painting, cooking, watching hummingbirds, and exploring the treasures of Amazon and Marshall’s.

Rosemary’s legacy continues through her loving family. Sons and daughter Phil (Linda), Steve (Sue), and Eileen. Yia Yia to Meghan (Nick), Ryan (Morgan), Matt (Amanda), and Danny (Molly). Great Yia Yia to Eloise and Henry. Step sons and daughters Stefani, Mike, Chris, and Andrea (David). Yia Yia to David (Kimberly), Vanessa, Augustino, and Brighid. Great Yia Yia to Peyton, Rylee, Riker, and Sloan. She is further survived by her brother Edward (Beverly) and many nieces and nephews. Rosemary was preceded in death by her beloved husband Thomas Coules, her parents Edward and Rose Prentice, and her sisters Barb and Rosalind.

A visitation followed by a funeral service celebrating Rosemary’s life and honoring the joy and love she brought into this world will be held at Evert-Luko Funeral Home, Hartland, Wisconsin on October 30, 2024. Visitation from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:15 AM. Following the funeral service, Rosemary’s children and grandchildren will travel to Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery for a private burial service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Towner Crest of Oconomowoc Employee Appreciation Fund. Donation envelopes will be available at Rosemary’s memorial service.
