Sandra "Sandy" J. Volkman

Sandra J. Volkman (Sandy) passed away June 19, 2024, at Hartland Terrace at the age of 88.

She grew up in Nashotah, attended Oconomowoc High School, and spent 40 years as a United Airlines Flight Attendant. She flew all over the world. A very proud moment for her as a flight attendant was when she escorted troops to Vietnam and Iraq. She attended UWM and studied art with Tom Lynch. Her art shows were in Delafield, West Bend, and Menomonee Falls.

Sandy will be greatly missed by her nephew Randy (Barb) Howland, their children Branda and Jodi, and many more nieces and nephews.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Daisy (Thacker), sisters Virginia (Chuck) Howland, Betty (Harold) Rienertson, and Lolly (Bob) Benzinger.

She owned two live wolves who were the loves of her life Ilikan and Dakota.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Evert-Luko Funeral Home 170 Warren Ave. Hartland, WI on July 12, 2024, from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM. Pastor Steven Hess will lead a service at 5:00 PM. Refreshments will follow.
