Scott W. Clausen, 68, of Hartland, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 4, 2023, at Angels Grace Hospice.
Early on in his life, Scott learned how to work with his hands, quickly becoming a skilled craftsman and metal worker. Thanks to Scott's prowess as a Machinist / Welder and his workhorse mentality, he was able to run his own machining business out of his workshop, along with working for Central Machine and the DPW of Hartland.
One of Scott's passions was restoring antique hit-and-miss gas engines. He would attend several thresheree shows every year as an Exhibitor, showing and teaching people the histories of early industrial machines.
If he ever found time to relax, one of Scott's favorite pastimes was swimming and fishing on Beaver Lake, especially if his sons were with him. He was also an avid hunter, who always enjoyed his time spent in nature.
He will be missed by many. His kindness, outgoing social personality, and tenacious working mentality were the cornerstones of a man that should be celebrated.
He is survived by his mother Ella Mae, sons Jonathan (Tiffany) and Benjamin, cousin Skip Sickels, and former spouse Peg. Further survived by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at Evert-Luko Funeral Home,170 Warren Ave. Hartland, WI on Thursday, December 14th from 10:30-11:30am with a service to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to ProHealth Angels Grace Hospice in the name of Scott Clausen.
