Todd Christopher Weigand, born August 25th, 1977, was gracefully welcomed into heaven unexpectedly on April 29th, 2023, at the age of 45.
Our family was not expecting Todd’s life to be cut so short so soon. We are all extremely devastated by this abrupt ending to such a beautiful, fully lived life. Todd was a warm and charismatic soul with a heart of gold. He was funny, adventurous and one of the most selfless human beings when it came to his family and friends.
Todd was born into a wonderful family who took so much pride in him. He absolutely loved being outdoors in the sun. He really enjoyed going up north and riding dirt-bikes, snowmobiles, ATV’s, and his Harley, and most of all a beautiful afternoon slow pontoon ride. The water of any sort was his favorite place to be, while listening to his favorite artist Kenny Chesney. Todd also loved lifting weights, hiking and riding his bike around his Florida community where he escaped the cold of Wisconsin winters.
Todd was a man of unwavering faith and drive like no other. He went to Arrowhead High School and played football, which shaped a huge part of who he was today. Todd attended UW-Whitewater after high school, then worked for his dad at the car lot for a short time before getting into his lifelong career, a financial advisor for 26 years. He absolutely loved his clients and his job; he worked for New England Financial, New York Life and eventually went out on his own to start his own business, Weigand Financial Services.
Todd was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather and grandmother, George B. Weigand and Mary Jane (Spencer) Weigand, as well as his maternal grandmother, Alice M. Bender.
Todd will be remembered with much love and broken hearts by his devoted and loving best friend and wife, Jody M. Weigand; his beautiful children, Lexus M. Weigand, and Aiden T. Weigand. He is further survived by his cherished parents, Thomas G. Weigand and Susan M. Weigand; his brother and best friend, Christopher T. Weigand and his lovely wife Heather L. Weigand; and sweet niece, Mackenzie L. Weigand. He also leaves behind his 13-year-old pug, Reggie, who gave him his daily kisses.
Todd was loved greatly by so many and will forever be cherished by all the lives he has touched. God is good, unfortunately he never promised us an easy path, not even for his own son. Although we loved him dearly, we could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands to rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best.
We will announce arrangements for Todd’s Celebration of Life at a later date. Please continue to visit Todd’s page at www.evertlukofuneralhome.com in the upcoming weeks for updated information and details regarding his Celebration of Life.
