Vicky Lynn Colosimo passed away peacefully on October 27, 2024, in her home in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, at the age of 68. She continued her journey from earth to heaven surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Born on January 22, 1956, she was the second of five children born to Wayne and Betty Lou Loose. Vicky achieved her dream of becoming a mental health therapist and earning her master’s degree in psychology. She enjoyed building relationships with her clients and helping them through the challenges in their lives. It was widely acknowledged at her office how much her clients enjoyed working with her.
She even helped counsel fellow church members and young couples at the church she loved so much – Faith Journey Church in Germantown, Wisconsin, as well as helping those within the family with any problems and obstacles they were faced with, even as she was facing insurmountable health challenges of her own. She truly leaves behind a legacy of helping others.
Beyond counseling, Vicky enjoyed decorating and taking on small projects around her house, reading on her secluded deck in the backyard of her house, and spending time with her family, sons and grandchildren.
In early 2021, she was faced with a grim diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. Instead of relenting, she fiercely fought back with strength and courage for more than three years. We are at peace knowing she no longer has to fight.
She is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Stephanie Krueger and Bradley Colosimo; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Ron Deerr, Linda and Robert Losiniecki, Diane and Robert Rowe and Renee Loose; nieces and nephews Jenny (Kevin) Brusso, Katie (Andrew) Kress, Sarah (Brian) Grossmeyer, Becky (John) Lorenz, Justin (Heather) Rowe, RJ Losiniecki, Michael (Megan) Rowe, Stephanie (Joshua) Snuggs, and Peter (Samantha) Rowe; and grandchildren Kennedy, Camden and Brooks Krueger. She is preceded by parents Wayne and Betty Lou and her brother David Loose.
Her family would like to thank Dr. Mandana Kamgar and the rest of the staff of the Cancer Center – Froedert Hospital who helped in her fight, as well as the friendly staff at Evert-Luko Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at the Faith Journey Church in Germantown, Wisconsin on Saturday, November 16. Visitation starts at 9:30 a.m. with the service beginning at 11 a.m.
