Wendy Menning (nee Myatt) a beloved mother, wife, daughter, and friend, passed away on February 16, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 39. Born on November 23, 1985, in Waukesha, Wisconsin, Wendy was a beacon of joy and creativity, known for her deep love for her family.
Wendy loved the beach and ocean and often found solace in nature. She was particularly fond of animals, especially cats, which reflected her nurturing personality. As a skilled photographer, Wendy beautifully captured the special moments of many weddings and graduations, using her camera to tell stories of love and achievement. Wendy thrived in the company of her loved ones, cherishing every moment spent with friends and family.
Wendy is survived by her husband, Al; and their children, Ian and Adaline, whom she loved fiercely and considered her proudest accomplishments. She also leaves behind her parents, Robert and Penny Myatt; her grandfather, John Myatt (age 98); her sister, Nancy (Jay) Breuning; her nephew, Jasper; her grandmother-in-law, Virginia Orlich; and her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Sandy, Frank, Noel, Tiffany, Richard, Chantelle, and Tomas. Wendy will be dearly missed by other family members and countless friends who knew and loved her.
A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a memorial service from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Evert-Luko Funeral Home, located at 170 Warren Ave, Hartland, Wisconsin, 53029.
Wendy's legacy will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege to know her, and her spirit will forever shine brightly through the memories she created and the love she shared.
