William H. Gross

William H. Gross, 91, of Hartland, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022 at AngelsGrace Hospice. He was born in the town of Granville, WI on June 7, 1931 to William F. Gross and Mary Leuth.

Some may know him as Rich, Richard, Dick, or Bill. He worked for (and retired from) the Chicago Northwestern Railroad. After retirement he also worked for the Village of Chenequa police department helping out at the boat launch because he liked to keep busy. He loved his trains and also really enjoyed being outdoors working in his yard. He was a fantastic woodworker and built many things throughout the years from coat racks to benches to toy boxes. All of his work was one of a kind and was gifted to family.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn; sons Joseph (Melanie) Gross and David (Jane) Gross; stepchildren Thomas, Gail, David, Brian and Renee. Also by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents William and Mary; brothers Leroy and Bob Gross; sister Delores Gregovich; daughter Lucy Kraut.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 3rd, 2022 at the Evert-Luko Funeral Home 170 Warren Ave. Hartland, WI from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM with a Service at 12:00 PM. Burial will be at a later date.
