Welcome to Evert-Luko Funeral Home

MItchell R. Olson

On September 21, 2019 Mitchell Robert Olson passed away peacefully and has joined our heavenly father.

Mitch was born May 26, 1992 in Berrien Springs, Michigan. His family moved to Oconomowoc, Wisconsin when he was 7. Mitch was a gifted painter having once had his work displayed at the Milwaukee Art Museum. He was a big movie buff, especially drama-adventure or thought provoking philosophical films. He became a good cook and aimed to please people with his “kitchen creations”. He prided himself on his salesmanship skills, had a knack for understanding electronic gadgetry and even built a computer at the age of 14. His in-depth knowledge of the world’s firearms was impressive. He enjoyed a good book, playing hearts, hanging by a camp fire with others, and a good hearty steak. Quick with a bright smile, and having a fun personality, Mitch made friends easily. He leaves an indelible impression on the countless lives of those who came to love him.

Mitch is survived by his father Mark Olson & mother Dawn Knapp; his step-mother Mary Olson and & step-father Mark Knapp; his brother Max, sister Mandy Williams, step-sisters Samantha Durbin & Lindsey Kalvin & Megan Olson; grandparents Penny & Jim Powers, Ralph Thompson, and Marion Olson; and several cousins, aunts and uncles.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Oakwood Church 3041 Oakwood Road Hartland, WI 53029.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 12:00 (NOON). Service will begin at 12:00 (NOON) followed by lunch. At 2:30 PM there will be a graveside ceremony at final resting place of Gardens of Stonebank Cemetery.
