On Friday, April 19, 2019, Karissa Jewel Rector, 28, passed away in her sleep at her family home in
Born March 14, 1991, in Oconomowoc, she is the daughter of Donald and Ann Marie Rector, and sister
to Dylan Paul Rector.
She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Bill and Judy Klosky and Geryl Rector, and maternal
grandfather, Paul Mickey.
She is survived by her brother, her parents, her maternal grandparents Stewart and Betty Armstrong,
and a big family including seven aunts and uncles, pets, and dozens of cousins who all loved her dearly.
“Krissi” was a free spirit who was remarkably true to herself. She loved animals and dreamed of being a
veterinarian. She volunteered with the Wildlife in Need Center in Oconomowoc.
Krissi was employed by Fiberesin Industries. She was a poet and musician, quick-witted and hilariously
sarcastic by nature. Krissi loved to read fiction, suspense novels, and from authors of philosophy who
questioned the world as she did. She will be sorely missed.
