Timothy J. Stubner, of Hartland, passed away on October 6, 2019 at the age of 47. His wife, Rachel, and daughter, Emily, were by his bedside as he told both of them “I love you” and took the final breaths that ended his long battle with cancer. It was extremely peaceful and for that, we are so grateful.
Tim was diagnosed almost 3 years ago and despite being told he would only have a year to a year and a half, he, proving to be the stubborn and strong man we love with all of our hearts, lived his life much longer than that.
Tim loved being outdoors - camping, fishing, spelunking, hiking, kayaking, snowmobiling, and riding his motorcycle. He could be found on nights and weekends racing RC cars and trucks on the track he and his friends built on his property. Tim had a kind and loving heart and would always go out of his way to help family, friends, and friends of friends. More times than not, this involved fixing cars, motorcycles, household items, and old machinery. He was a long time employee of Bryant Products and was known both professionally and personally as the man who could fix or build anything – “if Tim can’t do it, it can’t be done!”
Tim’s greatest love was his family and over the last couple of years, sitting with them in front of the fireplace at home provided the most comfort.
Surviving him are the love of his life for 27 years (wife for 19 of those), Rachel, his daughter, Emily (Alex Weber), his father Gary (Brenda), his brother Glen (Jennifer Kruesel), and his sister Annette (Darren) Jarnig. He is further survived by his in-laws Anita (John) Masch and Jeff Wagner, his nieces Jessica, Megan, Julia, and Chelsea. He put his four legged buddy, Ruby, in charge of keeping everyone in line. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lynn.
A gathering for family and friends will be held at the Evert-Luko Funeral Home 170 Warren Avenue, Hartland on Friday, October 11th from 3:00 PM with a Memorial Service at 4:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Hartland American Legion.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
