Licensed Funeral Director

Born and raised in Hollandtown, WI, a small town east of the Fox Valley, Clint is country! He grew up with “farm” in his bones. When asked, “Why did you choose the funeral profession?,” his response was, “It’s certainly a calling. Like farming or pastoral care, it’s not for everyone; however, it’s for me! When you know, you know!”

Clint received his BS in Applied Science from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 2005. Enrolling in the Accelerated Program at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, he was conferred his second BS in Mortuary Science in 2006. Through the years, Clint completed work in the Twin Cities, Eau Claire, and lastly, in New London, WI, where he was employed by a local funeral home for 12 years. “I love the small town! It's about roots! It's about names, relationships, and connections; not numbers.”

As many funeral homes are generational, and though by the name it may sound to be, Evert-Luko Funeral Home is not. Clint purchased the funeral home from Renee Evert in 2021. As she was given the opportunity by Dick Luko to serve Lake County throughout the years, she demanded the same from Clint…and the promise was made.

Empathy, relationships, care, and love are paramount at Evert-Luko Funeral Home. The motto is firm: “Serving with skillful hands and soulful hearts.”

In addition to Clint’s state licensures, he holds certifications as a CFSP (Certified Funeral Practioner), CPC (Certified Preplanning Consultant), and CCO (Certified Crematory Operator), which require specific qualifications and additional continuing education requirements.

On the “fun” side, Clint loves bonfires, flip-flops and hoodies, spinning vinyl, spontaneous road trips, and great conversation.
